Can you see the Big Five in Uganda?

Yes, you can! Uganda is one of the few countries in Africa where you can see all members of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino. While lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo roam freely in national parks like Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, and Kidepo Valley, the black rhino can be seen at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is the only place in Uganda where rhinos have been successfully reintroduced through conservation efforts.

Pairing Big Five game viewing with gorilla and chimpanzee trekking makes Uganda one of the most exciting and diverse safari destinations on the continent.
